Backstreet Boys announce six-night Düsseldorf residency for 2026
The Backstreet Boys are returning to Germany next September for six shows in Düsseldorf.
The Backstreet Boys have revealed plans for a six‑night residency at Merkur Spiel Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany, beginning September 25, 2026.
The series, titled Into The Millennium – Homecoming: Live in Germany, will be the group’s only European shows of the year and marks a poignant return to the country that first awarded them a platinum record with I’ll Never Break Your Heart three decades ago.
Pre‑sale access begins December 12 at 12pm CET via BackstreetBoys.com, with general tickets available from December 15 at 12pm CET.
Germany holds a special place in the band’s history. Long before they became global superstars, the Backstreet Boys built their earliest fanbase across Europe, recording hits overseas and performing tirelessly to packed venues. German audiences were among the first to embrace them, turning up at shows, calling radio stations, and waiting outside hotels - giving the group a glimpse of the worldwide phenomenon they would soon become.
Reflecting on the residency, Brian Littrell explained: “When we talk about this being a homecoming, it’s because Germany is where everything clicked for us. It’s where our dream stopped being hypothetical and became something real. Coming back for these shows feels full circle.”
The announcement follows the band’s hugely successful Into The Millennium Sphere run in Las Vegas, which has already drawn thousands of fans across more than 20 performances. The Düsseldorf residency promises a stadium‑sized celebration of their legacy, with the five‑time GRAMMY‑nominated Millennium album brought to life on stage. Fans can expect timeless favourites including I Want It That Way and Larger Than Life, alongside a career‑spanning set of greatest hits.
