How to watch Taylor Swift's Elizabeth Taylor music video
Fans with Apple Music and Spotify Premium can now watch Taylor Swift's official music video for Elizabeth Taylor.
Taylor Swift has premiered the music video for Elizabeth Taylor on Apple Music and Spotify Premium.
The pop idol did the same with her other The Life of a Showgirl track Opalite's promo - seemingly because Billboard no longer counts YouTube data towards streaming numbers in the charts.
Fortunately, Taylor did put Opalite on YouTube days later.
The Elizabeth Taylor video features footage from the screen siren's movies, including Cleopatra, Father of the Bride, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, A Place in the Sun, Giant, Suddenly, Last Summer, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Julia Misbehaves, and Boom!.
YouTube does, however, have the Elizabeth Taylor (So Glamorous Cabaret Version) available.
Taylor revealed she asked the permission of Taylor's estate before she released the song.
Speaking on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show, she said when asked if she seeks people's permission before releasing music mentioning them: "If they're real people, yeah. Yeah, if they're real people. And like if it's like Elizabeth Taylor, we go to their family and her estate and let them know and they were lovely about it."
