Kesha has hit out at the Trump administration after discovering that her 2011 hit Blow was used in a TikTok video praising the US military during ongoing air strikes in Iran.

The 39-year-old singer condemned the move in a strongly worded statement, saying she wanted no association with messaging that, in her view, trivialised conflict.

Kesha opened her post on X by expressing shock at how her music had been used, writing that she was “horrified” to learn her song had been paired with content she believes promotes aggression.

She wrote: “It’s come to my attention that the White House has used one of my songs on TikTok to incite violence and threaten war. Trying to make light of war is disgusting and inhumane. I absolutely do NOT approve of my music being used to promote violence of any kind. Love always trumps hate.”

Kesha followed with a plea for compassion, telling fans: “Please love yourself and each other in times like this. This show of blatant disregard for human life, and quite frankly, this attack on all of our nervous systems, is the opposite of what I stand for.”

Kesha then referenced the recently released Epstein Files, noting that Donald Trump’s name appears repeatedly in the documents.

She added: “Don’t let this distract us from the fact that criminal predator Donald Trump appears in the Files over a million times.”

Her comments quickly spread across social media, prompting discussion about how artists’ work is used on government‑linked platforms and the lack of consent often involved.

Fans widely supported her stance, while others questioned how the clip was approved in the first place. The TikTok post has since been removed, and no official response has been issued.
