Yungblud wants to join Oasis on a James Bond theme after Noel Gallagher addresses 007 rumours
Yungblud has revealed he would jump at the chance to team up with Oasis on a James Bond theme.
Yungblud has thrown his hat into the ring for the next James Bond theme — and he wants Oasis involved if the Gallagher brothers ever reunite for the job.
Recent reports suggested that Oasis were among the acts being considered to soundtrack the next 007 film following Amazon MGM Studios’ takeover of the franchise. But when Noel Gallagher was asked about the whispers during an appearance on talkSPORT, he didn’t exactly fuel the hype.
Laughing off the idea, Noel said he hadn’t heard anything official. He joked: “This James Bond thing? What, Oasis? Nah."
But when pressed on whether he’d take the gig if it actually came his way, he admitted he wouldn’t turn it down.
He said: “For Oasis to do it? Absolutely. Of course. It would be an honour — and those things should be done by Brits, not Americans.”
Noel added that no one from the studio had reached out before quipping that he’d happily play a Mancunian villain instead.
Yungblud — who releases his new album Idols II today (20.02.26) — told Kerrang! that he’d jump at the chance to team up with Liam and Noel for a Bond anthem.
He said: “I would f****** love to.
“For any British artist, a Bond song is the goal — it’s up there with headlining Glastonbury. I’d be down for a collaboration if Liam and Noel would f****** have me.”
Noel has previously admitted he’s experimented with writing music that could fit the Bond universe, telling NME he once revisited an old track and realised it “would make a great Bond theme.”
Yungblud has long spoken about the power he draws from the British icons who shaped him — including Oasis, The Verve, David Bowie and Amy Winehouse. He’s described the rush he gets from those artists as something that makes him feel unstoppable.
He said: “It’s that thing in your stomach when you put on Oasis or The Verve.
“It makes me feel like I can get up today. Like I can do anything. This album is me asking what my soul wants to say — the same feeling you get when you stick on Live Forever or Screamadelica.”
