MONSTA X are to release their new US digital single baby blue on Friday (14.11.25).

The new track marks the K-pop boy group's 10th anniversary and captures the gradual fading of a familiar love through sensuous electronic pop.

baby blue depicts post-breakup recollections and lingering emotions, with a lyrical melody and sophisticated synth sounds blending to leave an aftertaste where warmth and loneliness exist together.

The band have posted a brief teaser of the song on Instagram for their followers on the social media platform.

The song is the group's first official US single since the release of their second English album The Dreaming in 2021.

The band are aiming to mark their 10th anniversary with a deeper emotion and mood for listeners.

MONSTA X – made up of members Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney and I.M – have recently been promoting their Korean EP The X, which was released in September.

The record reached number 31 on the Billboard 200, which marked the first time that a Korean record had entered the US chart.

At the same time, MONSTA X have appeared on numerous charts such as World Albums, Independent Albums, Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales and Billboard Artist 100, highlighting the group's global strength.

The K-pop act will also join the 2025 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour, which commences on December 12 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

MONSTA X will then perform at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on December 15, Capital One Arena in Washington on December 16 and Kaseya Center in Miami on December 20.

The group returned to the stage in Seoul earlier this year for a three-night run of shows following a gap of four years due to their military enlistments.

Hyungwon had quipped that the band's visuals had become "even sexier" following their enforced break from performing.

The 31-year-old singer joked: "Since we’re preparing for our concert, we’ve spent a lot of time together.

"I was surprised by how nothing has really changed in terms of our teamwork since returning from the military. Our passion for practice and sense of humour have stayed the same.

"I’d say our visuals have become more mature — and even sexier."
