Noel Gallagher receives thank you from Lech Poznan for reviving the Poznan on Oasis Live '25 Tour
Oasis have made the Poznan a highlight of the Oasis Live '25 Tour.

Oasis have been thanked by Lech Poznan for reviving the Poznan on their Oasis Live '25 Tour.
Liam Gallagher has been instructing the crowds at their reunion tour to participate in the famous goal celebration of Manchester City fans during Cigarettes and Alcohol.
It involves thousands of supporters turning their backs to the pitch, linking arms, and bouncing in unison.
Though it’s now a familiar sight at Manchester City matches, the ritual actually originated with Polish club Lech Poznan.
The team has been thrilled to see the Poznan back in action at stadiums across the UK, and even in North America, and sent a special thank you letter to Noel Gallagher.
Thanks to all at Lech Poznań. It’s been THE highlight of the night all over the world. Even United fans have been doing it!!

The letter read: “We are truly proud that such a great club as Manchester City helped to spread the name of our city and team in such a remarkable way.
“We’ve seen the recordings from your concerts where you encourage Oasis fans to join in and do ‘the Poznan’ – and we have to say, it really makes a huge impression.”
The guitarist and chief songwriter for the legendary Britpop group also received a personalised Lech Poznan shirt.
Sharing the note and gift he received from the team on X, Noel wrote: "Thanks to all at Lech Poznań. It’s been THE highlight of the night all over the world. Even United fans have been doing it!! UP THE BLUES."
