Ariana Grande thanked her therapist and "gay people" after winning the Best Pop prize at the MTV Music Video Awards (VMAs).
The One Last Time hitmaker took home three prizes at the ceremony in New York on Sunday (07.09.25) for her musical short film Brighter Days Ahead and paid tribute to the music video "village" with a lengthy list of shout-outs after being presented with the award.
Ariana said: "Thank you so much. Oh my God, this is so kind... I have to start by saying thank you so much to my fans. I'm gonna cry. I love you with every fibre of my being. Thank you, MTV."
Grande - who also won the Video of the Year and Best Long Form Video prizes - reserved special thanks for her music video director Christian Breslauer and those behind-the-scenes - including producers, editors and designers.
The 32-year-old artist said: "Thank you so much for bringing these songs and this vision to life and articulating them visually in a way that was fanciful and yet specific and vulnerable and yet protective, all at once.
"Oh my goodness, you guys. You are the best in the world. I just want to say these videos that mean so much and define us as artists forever take a village."
The Positions singer also expressed her gratitude to her team and songwriters on the project.
Ariana said: "Thank you for championing me as a songwriter and producer as well. I love you so much. And thank you to my therapist and gay people. I love you."
The star also issued a message of optimism to those watching the ceremony - which was hosted by LL Cool J.
She said: "This project is all the hard work that is healing all different kinds of trauma, and coming home to our young selves and creating safety in our own lives, which is a lifelong process and a daily exercise.
"If you're on that journey, please continue onward, because I promise there are brighter days ahead."
Meanwhile, Ariana recently announced that she would be going on tour for the first time in six years.
The No Tears Left to Cry hitmaker announced the Eternal Sunshine Tour last month that will see four-night residences in both Los Angeles and Brooklyn as well as a run of five gigs at London's O2 Arena.
Tickets go on sale at ArianaGrande.com on Tuesday (09.09.25) with artist pre-sales followed by general sales on Wednesday (10.09.25).
