Fibonacci Day: Inspiring A Numerically Based Playlist That Really Adds Up

Ariana Grande Taylor Swift Dolly Parton The Who The Vaccines The Undertones Wilson Pickett Patti Labelle Feist

As it's Fibonacci Day we thought we'd engage the left side of our brains to come up with a sequence of numerically based tunes that hopefully won't divide opinion. Mathematics, rather like music itself, is generally regarded as an international language of it's own so what better way, in these unprecedented times(!), than to put together an eclectic mix of number themed bangers?

Ariana Grande - 34+35. Ariana's latest single release from her new album, Positions, brings us bang up to date. The saucy, NSFW, lyrically explicit tune, is not shy in coming forward. Ariana's sweet, high, vocal still seems far too innocent to be delivering up such suggestions but hey, she's now the ripe old age of twenty seven so can speak her mind whenever she pleases.

Ariana Grande Cancels Vegas NYE Gig

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande has been forced to cancel her headline gig in Las Vegas this weekend, due to what she described as “unforeseeable health reasons”.

The 25 year old pop star had been due to perform at The Chelsea inside the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Saturday night, just a day before New Year’s Eve. However, the hotel confirmed the night before that Grande had had to pull out of the gig, and that its guests who had booked to attend will receive a refund from the point of purchase.

“Vegas, I'm currently working through some health issues and am beyond sorry I won’t be able to see you this weekend,” Grande told her fans on Instagram later. “I love u and so look forward to seeing u and making it up to u next year.”

Ariana Grande Aiming To Headline 2019 Manchester Pride

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande’s much-vaunted return to Manchester following the devastating terrorist attack on her gig over a year ago might take the form of a headline set at the city’s annual Pride event in 2019.

Aside from the One Love Manchester concert, which Grande helped organise and starred in just a few weeks after the horrifying suicide bomb that claimed 22 lives at her gig at Manchester Arena back in May 2017, the 25 year old singer has not yet returned to play the city. She had been supposed to perform at the city’s Pride event in August this year, but the plans had to be cancelled because of security concerns.

She announced British tour dates for her latest album Sweetener a few months back, but Manchester was not on the itinerary, with Grande instead promising a special one-off event for her return to the city. However, she’s now said to be “so eager” to headline next year’s Manchester Pride event because the place holds a “very special place” in her heart.
