Despite reports the pair were embroiled in a months-long feud, Nicola Peltz has insisted she loves picking her mum-in-law Victoria Beckham’s brain for career advice.
Nicola Peltz loves picking her mum-in-law Victoria Beckham’s brain for career advice.
The ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ actress, 29, who married former Spice Girls singer Victoria’s son Brooklyn, 24, in 2022, has been widely reported to have been embroiled in a feud with Victoria over issues including Nicola’s decision to wear a Valentino wedding dress to her nuptials instead of a gown by Victoria’s fashion label.
But the billionaire heiress has now told Byrdie magazine: “I love her, and she’s such an incredible, successful woman.
“How lucky am I that I get to ask her for advice? I’m blessed!”
Nicola made her directorial debut with the film ‘Lola’, released on 9 February, while Brooklyn has tried his hand at becoming a chef.
The actress added she also looks to Victoria’s relationship with ex-footballer David Beckham, 48, as an example of how her marriage with Brooklyn should look.
She said: “Anyone who has been married for a long time, it’s such a beautiful thing.
“My parents have been together for maybe 40 years? And David and Victoria have been together since Brooklyn was a baby, which is like 25 years.”
She added David is “so amazing with Victoria” – which has led Brooklyn to be “so amazing” to her.
Nicola said: “I’m so thankful they raised such an incredible guy I got to marry.”
She added about her parents – billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz, 81, and 68-year-old model Claudia Heffner – that their “love inspires me every day”.
She said: “It sounds cheesy, but that’s how I feel.”
Nicola also said “family is everything” to her and she is “so close” to the Beckhams, adding: “I think there’s no better feeling than knowing you have a strong support system. It’s such a blessing, and I never take it for granted.”
