Speaking about the show, Madness said: “Brighton beach in July – the sea, the sunshine, Madness and yous… That’s not just a concert, that’s a proper British summer experience,” urging fans to arrive early for what they promise will be a packed line‑up.
With more than 15 UK Top 10 singles, three chart‑topping albums and classics including Our House, It Must Be Love and Baggy Trousers, Madness remain one of Britain’s most enduring and best‑loved bands. Their high‑energy live shows have become part of UK music folklore, from their appearances on Top of the Pops to performing on the roof of Buckingham Palace.
On The Beach, now entering its sixth year, has quickly become a major fixture on the festival calendar.
Since launching in 2021, it has hosted sold‑out sets from Fatboy Slim, Moby, Chase and Status, Royal Blood, The Libertines, Kaiser Chiefs and more. This year has already seen Fatboy Slim sell out three dates in pre‑sale, with Moby and The Maccabees also confirmed.
