Lola Young is set to make her return to the stage after her stage collapse on March 12.
The Messy hitmaker is set to headline Rolling Stone's Future of Music showcase, presented by JBL, at SXSW in Austin, Texas, on March 12.
It will mark the 24-year-old star's first show since she cancelled all her planned appearances "for the foreseeable future" after suffering a medical issue during the All Things Go Music Festival at Forest Hills Stadium, New York City, on September 27, 2025.
At the end fo the year, Lola told fans she "can't wait" to see them next year and offered reassurance that she is "doing well".
In a note shared to social media, she wrote: “I just wanted to express gratitude to everyone who has given me time and space to gather myself and get my head in a better place.
"I’ve felt so much love and support from you all and it has helped more than you will ever know.
“I am hoping to gradually get back to performing and continuing pursuing my dreams.
“Happy holidays to you all and can’t wait to see you in 2026.
“Life is a journey, nothing is perfect but today I am doing well.”
Days after her collapse, the singer announced she would be "going away for a while".
Lola wrote on Instagram: "I’m going away for a while. It pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future. Thank you for all the love and support. I’m so sorry to let anyone down who has bought a ticket to see me, it hurts me more than you know.
"Obviously you will be entitled to a full refund.
"I really hope you’ll give me a second chance once I’ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger. Love you all, Lola x. (sic)"
After her collapse in New York, Lola told fans she was "doing OK," writing in a social media update: "Hi, for anyone who saw my set at All Things Go today, I am doing OK now. Thank you for all of your support, Lola xxx. (sic)"
Speaking before the medical incident, Lola told the crowd that she'd had a tough couple of days.
She said: "Sometimes life can really make you feel like you can't continue, but you know what, today I woke up and I made the decision to come here, and I wanted to be cool ... and sometimes life can throw you lemons, and you just gotta make lemonade."
The Big Brown Eyes singer previously reflected on her "struggle" with sobriety after checking into rehab in 2024 to address her drug addiction.
She told the Guardian newspaper: "It’s been a struggle – I’ve definitely had to work on some internal healing while grappling with touring and stuff ...
"I’ve had to be away for a bit while battling with things. But it teaches you a lot, being addicted to substances. It makes you more empathetic about other people that have gone through that. It’s just a constant journey."
