Below, a note from Rick Sky on the passing of Molly Parkin:
So sad to hear about Molly Parkin. She was an outrageous fashion editor and a splendid erotic novelist, but her true forte was being the life and soul of a party. Totally flamboyant and fun. An original wild child before they were even invented. I loved seeing her at bashes because the unexpected always happened.
One of the most intriguing parts of her colourful life was her affair with Bo Diddley. She had lots of flings, but the Bo Diddley coupling must have been something else. I wonder if they made love to that wonderful Bo Diddley beat.
