Florence Welch and Taylor Swift had an impromptu reunion in London when they were both doing radio interviews to promote their new albums.
Taylor Swift and Florence Welch shared a "hug in the hallway" when they had an impromptu reunion in London.
The two singers were doing separate interviews to promote their respective new albums at the headquarters of Bauer Media Audio UK when they ran into each other.
Florence, 39, couldn't resist giving her friend Taylor, 35, a hug and took to her Instagram Stories to share a photo of the pop star pair with her 2.5 million followers on the social media site.
The accompanying caption read: "When your promo days cross over and you get to hug in the hallway
"Happy release day to one of the greats @TaylorSwift."
Florence and Taylor previously collaborated on the track Florida!!! from the latter's 2024 album The Tortured Poets Department.
The Florence + the Machine singer joined Taylor - who released her 12th album The Life of a Showgirl in October - when her record-breaking Eras Tour landed at London's Wembley Stadium and the pair performed Florida!!! for the first time.

Florence also joined Taylor for a duet of Florida!!! when The Eras Tour reached the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
The Shake It Out singer admitted in her Absolute Radio interview that she was desperate to run into her friend Taylor and give her a cuddle.
Florence said: "I want to see her so much. I want to go and give her a hug.
"I hope I can see her, I would love to give her a hug."
Elsewhere in her Absolute Radio interview, Florence revealed it was a totally different experience seeing Taylor the performer compared to the person she knows in private.
Florence said: "It was an unbelievable experience. It's funny because I kind of know her as a friend. But I think when I came up through the floor I was like, 'Oh my god, it's Taylor Swift!' She was on and she had this, like, incredible energy.
"You know when you have the friend and she's so cosy and kind and then when I came up through that platform it was like 'oh my gosh!'"
Florence + the Machine have just released their new sixth studio LP Everybody Scream, the first release since 2022's Dance Fever.
Florence has admitted that performing with Taylor and seeing the huge scale of The Eras Tour directly influenced her latest record.
In an interview with The Guardian, she said: "It was amazing.
"I will say that, yes, I’m someone who wants to hide from the vague humiliations of fame. But I did step out on that stadium stage with her and I was like, this is pretty f****** cool. After this, I’m gonna have to make some changes."
