Patsy Kensit has confessed having her hair brushed by David Bowie was "the most erotic moment" of her life.
The actress connected with the late superstar on the set of their 1986 film 'Absolute Beginners' when she was just 16 and Patsy has admitted she had a huge crush on the singer and dreamed they would fall in love and run away together even though she was just 16 and he was in his 30s.
She told The Sunday Times newspaper: "Bowie was just gorgeous. Heaven. I was 16 and I think he was 30. He was so lovely to everybody and I was completely in awe.
"I was also deluded, imagining that he’d fall in love with me and we’d run off."
The pair finally came face-to-face when work on the film got underway but Patsy was left disappointed by their first meeting. She went on: "Of course [when we met] I was in a line-up of people where he just shook my hand and then went along the line, and I was crushed."
However, they later became close after Bowie paid her a visit and it led to an "erotic" hair brushing. She added: "One day I was sitting in make-up and he popped his head in the door and said hi.
"He came over, picked up a brush and just started brushing my hair. He didn’t say anything - he just brushed it, then walked away. It was the most erotic experience of my life."
It comes after Patsy admitted she has spent years struggling with body image issues and even gets undressed in the dark.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday newspaper, Patsy shared: "It’s affected my mental health to the point where I’ve had serious issues with agoraphobia.
"I’ve wasted a lot of therapy on body image … It’s not nice to be pulled apart. Over the years, I got a real bashing - if someone told me they’d seen a picture of me somewhere, I’d immediately ask them if I looked fat.
"I’ve got areas of my body I don’t like. I’d never lie on a beach unless I was covered head to toe. I just wouldn’t want that exposure.
"I undress in the dark, too. Not even the cat - who is my pride and joy and the one dearest to my heart - has seen me naked with the lights on."
