The Sun had broken a story on Friday morning of an imminent Spice Girls reformation for their 20th anniversary next year.
Bunton, a.k.a. Baby Spice, was responding to an article on Friday (August 7th) in The Sun which claimed that the most successful girl group in pop history would be reuniting for its 20th anniversary with an international tour next year, but without Victoria Beckham.
Just a few hours later, she seemed to put a dampener on those rumours on her Heart London breakfast radio show. “If anything happens and it’s concrete, and we decide on something, I will let you know, but nothing’s happening at the moment,” she said.

It’s been nearly 20 years since the Spice Girls burst onto the pop music scene and changed the game forever with their debut single ‘Wannabe’. Now with their special anniversary approaching former band member and ‘America’s Got Talent Judge’ Mel B (aka Scary Spice) has been talking about the possibility of reunion to celebrate the group’s landmark anniversary.

"When you say it's our 20th anniversary, it makes you think oh gosh it really has been that long,” she said during an appearance on the 'Today Show', Thursday to promote her role as a a judge on America's Got Talent.
She announced in June that she was leaving 'The Voice' to join the ITV reality singing contest instead, but has spoken about her decision for the first time today.
New judge on ‘The X Factor’ Rita Ora has revealed that she couldn’t say no to Simon Cowell’s offer once she had heard about the organisers’ new plans for the reality TV show, and that it was this that was the primary factor in her decision to leave ‘The Voice’.
The 24 year old hitmaker spoke to Lorraine Kelly on the British morning chat show ‘Lorraine’ about her high-profile network switch from the BBC to ITV, saying that she just wanted “to be a part of it” when she heard about the new ideas.

Three members of the famous girl group had a very belated reunion on Thursday.
Mel B, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton, three former members of the Spice Girls, sent tongues wagging on Thursday when they held a belated reunion. In a pic posted on Mel B’s Instagram account, the three girls were pictured together in one happy, long-awaited selfie, proving that friendship really does never end.
Geri Halliwell recently tied the knot with Christian Horner.
The pic, which has so far garnered over 14,000 likes was captioned, "Love my girls!!! Friendship never ends it just gets stronger,” by Mel B. The image comes just one month after Mel B was unable to attend Geri’s wedding to Formula 1 boss Christian Horner in Woburn, Bedfordshire. Mel C and Victoria Beckham were also unable to attend the nuptials, leaving Emma Bunton as the only former Spice Girl present.

Could the ‘Poison’ singer soon be replacing Mel B on the ‘X-Factor’ judging panel?
After just one season as a coach on ‘The Voice’ it appears Rita Ora could be moving on and joining rival talent show ‘The X-Factor’. According to a report by The Sun, talks between Ora and ‘X-Factor’ bosses are heating up and the singer could be about to sign on as Mel B’s replacement.
