Skunk Anansie and Garbage announce joint tour
Alternative rockers Skunk Anansie and Garbage are teaming up for a joint headline tour next June.
Skunk Anansie and Garbage have announced a series of co-headline outdoor concerts next summer.
The two female-fronted alternative bands will perform at some of the UK's most picturesque concert settings, including The Piece Hall, Halifax (June 16), Delamere Forest (June 18), Dreamland, Margate (June 19), Scarborough Open Air Theatre (June 20), Cardiff Castle (June 22), and Guildhall Square, Southampton (June 23).
The groups will alternate who closes out each night.
Skunk Anansie continue to carve their legacy as one of Britain’s most uncompromising rock outfits.
Fronted by the formidable Skin, the band blends politically charged lyrics with a fierce sonic palette that spans punk, metal, and soul.
Their live shows remain a visceral experience, with Skin’s powerhouse vocals and stage presence commanding attention.
With a catalogue that includes landmark albums like Paranoid & Sunburnt and Stoosh, Skunk Anansie have never shied away from confronting social issues head-on, maintaining their relevance across decades of shifting musical landscapes.
Garbage have long stood at the intersection of alt-rock and electronic experimentation, led by the magnetic Shirley Manson.
Since their self-titled debut in the mid-90s, the band has fused gritty guitar work with sleek production, crafting hits that are both sonically bold and emotionally resonant.
Their recent releases show no signs of slowing down, with themes tackling identity, resistance, and modern anxieties.
Manson’s outspoken presence and the band’s genre-defying approach continue to earn them a loyal global following, cementing Garbage as a vital force in alternative music.
General sale tickets will go on sale on Friday, November 14, at 10am.
