Garth Brooks to headline BST Hyde Park 2026 for first UK show in 28 years
Country superstar Garth Brooks will perform in the UK for the first time since 1998 at BST Hyde Park next summer.

Garth Brooks will play his first UK show for 28 years at BST Hyde Park in 2026.
The 63-year-old country star will take to the stage in London on June 27 next year in what will be his first performance in Britain since 1998.
Jim King, chief executive of BST Hyde Park's operators AEG Presents UK and European Festivals, said: "Announcing Garth Brooks as our first BST Hyde Park headliner for 2026 is a landmark moment.
"He joins the line of legendary artists who have defined BST over the years.
"A true global icon, Garth's songs have connected with audiences everywhere, and his influence has paved the way for many of the country stars we celebrate today. His first UK performance in nearly three decades promises to be an unforgettable occasion at Hyde Park."
The Shameless singer joins Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan as country artists who have headlined BST Hyde Park.
Brooks has sold 170 million records worldwide and is second only to The Beatles in terms of album sales in the US.
His 1990 album No Fences was the first country album to go multi-platinum and the 1991 follow-up Ropin' the Wind was the first country record to reach the summit on the US pop charts.
Meanwhile, Garth previously admitted that fans sharing personal stories about his music is far more important to him than any award win.
The two-time Grammy winner told RSVP Country magazine in 2022: "Yeah, a Grammy is cool but then you are shopping with your wife and this guy comes up to you, starts talking to you and then all of a sudden his eyes start to water up because he played The Dance at his son's funeral.
"As much as you don't want to hear that that happened, the fact that you had something to do with what was chosen for that moment ... remember that I am a fan too and I want to tell James Taylor what he means to me and if people think of me the way I think of him then holy cow, that is the greatest compliment you can give somebody."
