Nordoff and Robbins' 2026 O2 Silver Clef Awards heads to Royal Albert Hall
The UK's leading music therapy charity will celebrate its 50th anniversary in style at the regal venue.
Nordoff and Robbins, the UK’s leading music therapy charity, will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a landmark edition of the O2 Silver Clef Awards at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Set to take place on Thursday, July 9, 2026, it will mark the first time the prestigious event is held at the iconic venue.
The O2 Silver Clef Awards is Nordoff and Robbins’ flagship fundraising event, raising more than £17 million since its inception in 1976. Over the past five decades, the charity has grown from a London-based initiative into a nationwide organisation, delivering over 54,000 music therapy sessions in 2024 alone and supporting nearly 17,000 people across schools, hospitals, care homes and community centres.
The awards have long recognised the contributions of legendary artists, with past recipients including David Bowie, Annie Lennox, Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Paul McCartney, George Michael, Kylie Minogue, The Rolling Stones, Oasis and Coldplay.
O2 returns as headline sponsor for the 2026 ceremony, marking its 25th year of partnership with the event.
Joe Munns, Chair of the O2 Silver Clef Awards Committee, said the move to Royal Albert Hall reflects the scale and significance of the anniversary: “We’re proud to celebrate this milestone in a venue that’s synonymous with music history. It’s a chance to honour incredible artists while raising vital funds for a charity that continues to make a real difference.”
In addition to hosting the awards, the Royal Albert Hall will also serve as Nordoff and Robbins’ official charity partner throughout 2026.
