The Clause have shared the new single Tell Me What You Want from their hotly-awaited debut album, Victim of a Casual Thing.

With the 12-track LP set to drop on October 24, the Birmingham band have given fans another taste of what's to come.

The song is accompanied by a music video in which, "The boys are busy running their ‘Victim of a Casual Thing’ hotline, dishing out dubious advice to lonely and lovelorn callers. But when Jonny Fyffe is sent out onto the streets of Birmingham to undertake some DIY promotion, they’re suddenly swamped with more calls than they could possibly manage."

Frontman Pearce Macca commented: “The outro riff is a bit out there and it goes half-time at the end. I was like, are we allowed to do that? Is it a bit too much? And then we just thought, f*** it, it’s gonna go off live! As a band some of our biggest influences are Kasabian and Foals, and we’ve taken the song down that route.”

The album is available to pre-order here.

To celebrate the release, the band will host an album launch show at Birmingham’s Hare and Hounds followed by run of in-stores and signing sessions, and their almost sold-out UK headline tour. The run will include their biggest gig to date at the 3000-capacity O2 Academy Birmingham.

Limited tickets for the tour are available here.

The Clause have created a buzz on the live circuit, having played Radio 1’s Big Weekend and gigs with the likes of Lottery Winners, Courteneers, The Reytons, DMA’S and The Snuts.
