Sports Team pull the plug on European shows due to 'financial risk'
Sports Team have been forced to postpone several European shows due to money concerns.

Sports Team have cancelled a string of European shows, citing that they “couldn’t justify the financial risk".
The Alex Rice-fronted band have pulled the plug on their concerts in Cologne, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Berlin, Munich, Zurich, Annecy, Barcelona and Milan that were planned for October.
The group vowed that they are are "working to reschedule" the impacted dates "as soon as possible".
Sports Team admitted "touring as a six-piece band is an extremely stupid business model".
A lengthy statement on Instagram read: "We've had to cancel some of our European dates. Cancelling shows goes against everything we want to do. We're in a band because we love playing live. We once drove 24 hours through the night from London to get to a show in Munich. There were 12 people there and the next day we drove back to Birmingham for the next show.
"Nobody slept. Most of us cried. It was hell. I would do it again tomorrow.
"We've done plenty of tours which haven't made money. Touring as a six piece band is an extremely stupid business model.
"Normally we're able to make things work.
"This time round we couldn't justify the financial risk. We will still be playing Here's The Thing Festival, Madrid, Paris and Antwerp, but the rest will have to come later."
It continued: "Our apologies to everybody in Cologne, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Berlin, Munich, Zurich, Annecy, Barcelona and Milan. There were a lot of places we hadn't had the chance to play before, and some where we had made very good friends in the past, all of which we will be working to reschedule as soon as possible. (sic)"
Sports Team went on to promise new music, describing the new material as Wonderwall by Oasis "played by God".
The statement added: "Before we released Boys These Days we had a two year break where we didn't release any music at all. So after we came back from the in-store tour in March, we made the decision to go straight back into the studio. We have been working on new music. It sounds like Wonderwall played by God. You will be hearing it soon.
"All the UK dates will be going ahead as planned this November.
"More news In October.
"Your friends, Sports Team."
