The Prodigy want to make Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction 'happen'
The Prodigy's Liam Howlett would like the band to enter the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The Prodigy's Liam Howlett would like to see the band inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The nominations for 2025 were just unveiled, including Oasis, New Order, Mariah Carey, Cyndi Lauper and The White Stripes.
And now the co-founder of the electronic dance rock group – who are best known for classics including ‘Firestarter’ and ‘Omen’ – has admitted he would like to “make it happen”.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, he said: “It’s not something I’ve ever thought about, but yeah, as you spoke about it we should be up there. Make it happen!"
Elsewhere, the musician admitted he felt a "cheeky pride" when The Prodigy's album 'Fat Of The Land' topped the charts in 1997.
All but one of the 'Breathe' hitmakers' albums - bar 1992's 'Experience' - have been No.1 in the UK.
Liam said: “I never gave a f*** about the charts. But somehow ‘Fat Of The Land’ going to Number One in the USA felt different. It had an extra ‘f*** you-ness’ about it as only a few British bands had ever done that.
“So yeah, you could say it gave me a certain cheeky pride for a while.”
Meanwhile, Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has just slammed the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame again after the Britpop legends received their second nod.
Following the unveiling of the longlist this week, the outspoken rocker lashed out at the museum and institution, but confessed he'd probably still attend if the 'Morning Glory' rockers were to be chosen for induction and would act like it was the "best thing ever".
He reacted on X: "RNR hall of fame is for W*****S.”
Liam also wrote: “F*** the Rock n Roll hall of fame its full of BUMBACLARTS LG (sic)"
When one fan asked what he's going to do if he wins, the singer replied: “Obv go and say it’s the best thing EVER (sic)"
It's not the first time Liam has mocked the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, having previously declared to The Sunday Times newspaper that he doesn't want to be a part of "anything that mentally disturbed".
Perhaps The Prodigy should swap places with Oasis?
