THE Pussycat Dolls found it hard to concentrate when recording their new LP with Missy Elliott - because they were so starstruck.
The sexy group roped in the female superproducer to spice up their latest album, and worked on upcoming single Whatcha Think About That with the Get Ur Freak On hitmaker.
And they couldn't contain their excitement at the prospect of working with Elliott - because she was the first woman to join forces with the band in the recording studio.
Bandmember Kimberly Wyatt tells MTV.com, "For the first time in my life, I was weak in the knees. I was completely starstruck. I had butterflies."
And frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger agrees: "Missy is so hot because she's the first female we've worked with on our album. And she's taking the Pussycat Dolls to a whole other level. We love you, Missy."
And the Pussycat Dolls are also hoping the hip-hop superstar will make a guest appearance on their global tour next year (09).
Wyatt adds, "She did tell me she wanted to go on tour with us. We go on tour January 09 - so, Missy, you better be there!"
