With Girls star Lena Dunham hot property at the moment, all eyes have been on what she’s going to turn her attention to next, and Deadline reckon they have it, reporting that the creator of the much loved show will be teaming with its co-showrunner, Jenni Konner, for another potential HBO show set in New York.

The website reckons that HBO have optioned All Dressed Up And Everywhere To Go, the upcoming memoir by Bergdorf Goodman’s personal shopper and legendary stylist Betty Halbreich. Halbreich is still very much in action, running her Bergdorf-based personal shopping service aged 85, having originally launched it back in 1976. Halbreich life has seen her dress generations of the richest New York celebrities and socialites, including Joan Rivers, Meryl Streep, Sarah Jessica Parker, Katie Couric and Glenn Close. She’s also been consulted for TV shows, including Sex And The City where she played a big part in the girls famous look. You could well imagine that Halbreich would have plenty to say in a memoir that has seen her work with some of the most powerful celebrities in America, and any show based on it has high potential for drama.

Dunham is flying high after two Golden Globes in January, with Girls itself winning best comedy series and the star taking best actress in a comedy series.
