The 'X Factor' band will go their separate ways following the London concert on Sunday night (22 Dec.)
JLS announced this year that they were to separate and head out on their own separate ventures, announcing their last ever run of performances along with the news of their split this summer. Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams and JB Gill performed to over 20,000 fans at the O2 Arena in London as they said goodbye to their fans after enjoying one of the best success stories The X Factor has offered to date.
The boys played for one last (hopefully not) performance on Sunday, 22 December
It was an emotional night, but one that didn't lack the excitement and expression of the JLS performances of old. Among the thousands of screaming fans singing along in person for the last time, the boys also performed to a number of famous faces who didn't want to miss out on saying goodbye with the JLS boys. One Direction's Louis Tomlinson was there with girlfriend Eleanor Calder, as was Marvin Hume's wife and The Saturdays member Rochelle Humes. Former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole, who was on the judging panel in 2008 when the boys were first discovered, was also there, Instagramming a picture of the eventing with the caption: "Soooo proud of these boys ! Was here on their first day! It only felt right to be here on their last! Love you boys! #farewellJls #muchlove."

The singer in the Leeds-based indie band has been chosen to replace the departing Danny O'Donoghue.
Ricky Wilson, the frontman of The Kaiser Chiefs, has been chosen to fill the remaining seat on The Voice judging panel for the next season of the BBC talent contest. Wilson has been brought in to replace the departing Danny O'Donoghue of The Script, as he joins one of four new faces joining the show.
Ricky is the final new face to be added to the show.
As the frontman of the three-time BRIT Award winners, Wilson garnered a reputation as one of the most energetic frontmen in popular music and recorded such hits as 'I Predict A Riot,' 'Oh My God' and 'Ruby.' He will join fellow newcomer Kylie Minogue, who has been chosen to replace Jessie J, as well as show stalwarts Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am. But it isn't just Wilson and Minogue who will be joining the show for the first time, as The Voice will introduce two new hosts following the departure of Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates. JLS singer Marvin Humes and Big Brother presenter Emma Willis have since been hired to present the show when it returns next year.

The Saturdays singer and her infant daughter were involved in a minor collision this week, but the singer has since confirmed that she and her daughter are doing well.
The Saturdays songstress Rochelle Humes was involved in an unfortunate fender bender earlier this week, when someone rear-ended the back of her car whilst her infant daughter Alaia-Mai was also in the car. Despite an initial scare, most towards the welfare of young Alaia-Mai, the singer told her Twitter followers not to worry about her as she and her daughter are both fine.
Hey guys, just seen your tweets! Me and Alaia okay, someone drove into the back of us not very nice but could have been worse x— Rochelle Humes (@RochelleTheSats) September 12, 2013

Now that newlywed Marvin and Rochelle Wiseman from The Saturdays have moved out of the swish property, the 19-year-old 1D star has decided to move in but mischievous Marvin, 27, has taken the opportunity to play a few housewarming pranks on his fellow boy band buddy. 'Yes, I got him a moving-in present', he told The Mirror. It was a cushion with a picture of himself on. Our management had One Direction cushions. So I got a Niall face and left it in the house for him to see.' A pretty tame wind-up, we'll admit, but we're sure they have worse in store after discovering what one source revealed to the tabloid. 'Whiffy prawns hidden in the curtain rails were joked about', they said. 'And, of course, Niall will have to quickly change the locks so he doesn't end up with a member of JLS letting themselves in and roaming around in the early hours.'
We're also wondering if Niall splashing out a massive £2.2million on the house was also a prank after Marvin revealed: 'I gave him mates' rates'. Hmmm!
JLS have some stern words of advice for this year’s X Factor contestants.
Well, they have some words of advice for some of this year’s X factor contestants. It wasn’t too hard to figure out who they were aiming their words of wisdom at, exactly. Step forward, Rylan Clark and Lucy Spraggan, for you have been singled out as this year’s troublemakers.

For a few seconds, Olly Murs thought he had seriously injured JLS star Aston Merrygold. The prank was filmed for Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer show, which is coming next Friday, October 19 to UK Screens.
According to The Mirror, Murs was interviewing his pop counterparts, JLS, when Aston volunteered to be shot out of a cannon, and Ollie was nominated to press the button to launch him clear. When the big moment came, with the tension at a suitably palpable level…. nothing happened. But, being a stereotypical guy, Ollie smacked the button a second time, even harder, and was seen to be shocked as Aston shot out of the cannon, missed the safety net and smacked into a wooden stage. It turned out that the body fired out of the cannon didn’t belong to Aston at all but an experienced stuntman. All was well, of course, as was the man Ollie shot from the canon, but for some time, Mr Murs thought he’d dealt some real damage to his fellow pop star. "Still recovering, still shaking & still shocked!! @JLSOfficial you got me proper today!!" he tweeted after the hoax. JLS star Marvin Humes added: "Just did an amazing prank with @ollyofficial and lots of JLSters!! Absolutely hilarious! Can't wait for u all to see!!"
Stand Up To Cancer represents a collaboration between Channel 4 and Cancer Research. It will see some of he biggest UK stars do all sorts of things, pranks included, to raise money and awareness of Cancer treatment.
