Rocker BRET MICHAELS has had another major health scare after suffering a brain hemorrhage on Thursday night (22Apr10).
The Poison frontman, 47, was recovering from a recent emergency appendectomy at home in Texas when a blinding headache prompted him to check into hospital.
Doctors discovered he had suffered a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage, according to People.com.
As WENN went to press with this story, Michaels' condition was described as critical.
A source tells the website, "After several CAT scans, MRIs and an angiogram, (doctors) decided to keep Michaels in the ICU (intensive care unit) and are running several tests to determine the cause. (It) will be touch and go for the next few days while he is under intense observation."
Michaels, who is currently shooting U.S. reality show Celebrity Apprentice, has already scrapped a series of concerts following his appendectomy earlier this month (Apr10).
