My Chemical Romance delay opening night of Black Parade 2026 Tour
My Chemical Romance have been forced to delay the start of their Black Parade 2026 tour due to "reasons beyond our control".
My Chemical Romance have been forced to delay the opening night of their highly anticipated Black Parade 2026 Tour, confirming that their first scheduled performance in Bogotá, Colombia will no longer go ahead as planned.
The announcement arrived just weeks before the tour’s launch, marking an unexpected setback for both the band and the thousands of fans preparing to welcome them back to South America.
In a statement shared across their official channels, the group explained the circumstances behind the sudden change, stressing that the decision was not taken lightly.
Fortunately, support act The Hives will make the new Bogotá date set for February 10.
It read: “Due to reasons beyond the control of ourselves, the promoter, or the venue, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our show in Bogotá, Colombia. The new date will be Tuesday, February 10, 2026. The Hives will still open and the schedule will remain unchanged. All other dates in South America and Mexico City will continue as planned. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our fans and look forward to seeing you in a few weeks. All original tickets will be honored for the new date. Find more information about refunds through Ticketmaster.co channels.”
The Bogotá show was set to serve as the kick-off to the Black Parade 2026 Tour, a run that has already generated intense excitement thanks to its promise of a full-scale revival of the band’s most iconic era. Fans had been preparing for a theatrical, emotionally charged return to the world of the 2006 album that cemented My Chemical Romance as one of the defining rock acts of their generation.
