Yoo Ji-tae, Tony Revolori and Gia Kim have joined the cast of Paramount’s as-yet-untitled K-pop film.

The cast of Paramount Pictures and Hybe America’s hotly anticipated K-pop feature just got a major glow-up. Yoo Ji-tae, Tony Revolori, and Gia Kim have officially joined the project, which is already generating buzz as the first major American studio film to be shot entirely in South Korea.

Directed by Benson Lee (Seoul Searching, Battle of the Year) and written by Eileen Shim (House of the Dragon), the film dives deep into the high-stakes world of K-pop survival shows. At its heart is a young Korean-American woman who defies her family’s expectations to compete for a spot in the next breakout girl group — a story that promises both emotional grit and glittering spectacle.

The newly announced trio will star alongside previously confirmed leads Ji-young Yoo (KPop Demon Hunters) and singer-actor Eric Nam (The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender). Yoo Ji-tae, best known for Money Heist: Korea, brings dramatic weight, while Revolori — Marvel’s Flash Thompson — adds Hollywood edge. Gia Kim, fresh off her breakout role in Netflix’s XO, Kitty, rounds out the ensemble with Gen Z charm.

Lee said in a statement shared with The Hollywood Reporter: “This film is my love letter to K-pop — its energy, passion, magic and the incredible community behind it."

Produced by Hybe America’s James Shin, Arthur Spector, Joshua Davis, and Scooter Braun, with executive producers Joshuah Bearman, John Zaozirny, and Scott Manson, the film is still awaiting a release date.
