Robbie Williams will perform his new album Britpop in full at an intimate London show.

The 51-year-old singer is to take to the stage at iconic Camden music venue Dingwalls in London for a special one-off performance on October 9 to celebrate the release 13th solo studio album, which will drop the following day.

Robbie will sing Britpop in its entirety as well as every song from his debut solo LP Life Thru A Lens.

To get early access to tickets for the gig, fans must either pre-order Britpop from Robbie's official store. More information can be found at britpop.robbiewilliams.com.

Life Thru A Lens was released in September 1997 and topped the UK Official Albums chart and featured classic singles such as Angels, Let Me Entertain You and Old Before I Die.

A host of guest artists have been confirmed to appear on Britpop including Coldplay's Chris Martin, Supergrass frontman Gaz Coombes, Mexican pop duo Jesse and Joy and Robbie's former Take That bandmate Gary Barlow. Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi is also featured on the album on first single Rocket which was released earlier this summer.

Speaking to NME of the shock collaboration with the heavy metal legend - who was bandmates with the late Ozzy Osbourne in Black Sabbath - Robbie said: "How lucky am I? The audacity for both of us – [one of Black Sabbath] featuring on a Robbie Williams song. God bless him for doing that, and God bless me for my audacity!”

The collection will feature a more guitar heavy sound, as the singer previously opened up about his desire to embrace his own tastes.

He added: "I was playing it safe and I’ve not been driving my own car.

"I’ve not had my hands on the wheel through second-thinking myself and guessing what people like. I just wanted to do something that I like.”

The Britpop cover artwork is a nod to the album title featuring a painting of one of Robbie’s most iconic looks – his red tracksuit outfit that he wore to attend Glastonbury Festival in 1995 at the height of the Britpop era.
