It looks as though One Direction has done it again. The British boy-band made up of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan are set for their second Billboard No.1 album after analysts predicted their sophomore effort Take Me Home could sell 575,000 in its first week. It would cap a remarkable year for the band, who could still win Best Group at the 4Music Video Honours on November 24.

While the figures being bandied about appear huge, 575,000 would only be the third-best chart debut of the year, behind Mumford & Sons (600,000) and Taylor Swift's album Red (1.2 million). It proves that the music industry is certainly alive and well in the United States and was probably given a kick-start by Adele's all-conquering 21. The final figures for this week's Billboard sales will be unveiled next Wednesday (November 21) though it's pretty much a certainty that One Direction will clinch their second number one. The news comes in the same week that documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me) announced that he would be directing a 3-D movie on the British X-Factor stars. Horan discussed the project during an appearance on the Today show, "We are going to do our first-ever movie and it's going to be in 3-D and it's coming to cinemas near you on the 30th of August, 2013," he confirmed.

Spurlock is likely to start shooting the band when they head out on their massive world tour in 2013. The tour kicks off in February at London's O2 Arena before heading stateside for a North American tour opener in Fort Lauderdale on June 13. Before that, the band have a huge show scheduled for Madison Square Garden, New York on December 3, and could still nab a flurry of awards including the 4Music Best Group prize.
