Punk legend Casey Royer has been arrested for allegedly taking heroin in front of his 12-year-old son.
The former Social Distortion drummer allegedly overdosed on heroin in the pre-teen's presence.
His quick-thinking son ran next door for help after his father began experiencing problems at his Orange County, California home - and the police were called.
Cops found the home littered with garbage and drug paraphernalia, according to Tmz.com.
Royer was hospitalised and arrested upon his recovery.
On Monday (14Mar11), he was charged with one count of child endangerment, and one count of being under the influence of heroin.
