Julia Fox has confessed to being surprised by her own success in the TV industry.
Julia Fox has been surprised by her own success.
The 34-year-old actress is the star of 'OMG Fashun!', a reality fashion show that premiers in May, and Julia has now admitted to being surprised by her success in the TV business.
Asked if she ever envisioned herself on TV, Julia told Variety: "No, not at all. Not at all.
"But then again, I never envisioned myself being in movies or doing anything I’m doing. I just go wherever the wind blows."
'OMG Fashun!' sees contestants use unconventional materials to create a fashion ensemble for Julia to model.
The actress - who previously dated Kanye West - believes 'OMG Fashun!' is a "fun show" and she's insisted that people shouldn't take the programme "super seriously".
Speaking about her latest project, she shared: "It’s not meant to be taken super seriously, and it’s meant to really attract all kinds of audiences, like you don’t just have to be into fashion to watch this show. Everybody has trash in their house, everybody has old stuff that can be given a new life to.
"I don’t want to see people losing and then crying about it. I want to see people winning and crying."
Meanwhile, Julia previously claimed that being "a little bit delusional" has helped her to achieve success.
The actress believes that her single-minded attitude has been central to her career in the movie business.
Asked if she considers herself to be ambitious, Julia told ELLE: "I think to get anywhere you want in life, you have to be a little bit delusional."
The 'Uncut Gems' star feels she's changed markedly during her time in the spotlight.
She said: "I’ve definitely changed. I feel different from even, like, last year."
