From Boston, Massachusetts, Protokoll are described as "punk musicians making pop music." Since the band's birth in the summer of 2004, they have most notably supported Wolfmother, and also played at this years SXSW showcase. This is their UK debut.
Opening with a bass that could tear down walls, "Moving Forward" is not too far removed from the sound that has brought success for The Editors. Throw in a couple of tickled guitars, blazing synths, and raw energy, and you've got an impressive little number. B-side "Holy Divine" also owes much to the eighties, seemingly influenced by the New Romantics, and certainly in a positive way.
