Camila Cabello is literally washing her dirty laundry in public (Nick Kamen style) in the video for her latest single - 'Bam Bam'. The 'Señorita' sensation has teamed up with serial collaborator Ed Sheeran for her new track which is also her first new music of 2022. Whilst Ed has been busy with his long term friend Taylor Swift on 'The Joker And The Queen', and hooking up with Fireboy DML for a new version of 'Peru', Camila has not released any music since her last single - 'Oh Na Na' back in October of last year.
'Bam Bam' consistutes the third release from Cabello's forthcoming 12 track album, 'Familia' which is set to be released on April 8th. As she turned 25, a day before her latest single dropped, Camila tweeted - "2 facts: it's my birthday and this album is my whole f***ing heart. FAMILIA. Out April 8".
'Bam Bam' follows the lead track from Camili Cabello's third studio album, 'Don't Go Yet' and it's follow up - 'Oh Na Na' and comes shortly after her starring role in the Amazon Prime film adaptation of 'Cinderella'.
The video for Camila and Ed's new song was directed by actress Mia Barnes ('Bad Romance'/'Can't Complain'/'Torn'('Poison')/('The Kill Club') in collaboration with grammy nominee Dave Meyers (Coldplay ft. Selina Gomez - 'Let Somebody Go' /Drake ft. Future + Young Thug - 'Way 2 Sexy'/Ed Sheeran - 'Bad Habits').
Cabello's third album - 'Familia', she says - "means community, I guess the opposite of you on your own. It’s more you with other people land sharing in that joy and success, whatever that means. Interdependence realizing how important everybody is in your life. A lot of it is inspired by my relationships: My relationships to my family, my relationship to my friends, my relationship to my partner … it’s all about connections with other people, hence, Familia".
