The survey reveals all kinds of juicy details about Brits' late night online activities.
Pornographic video sharing site Pornhub has up and done a survey on the online habits of its British users – and the results have been very interesting. Among the findings has been the average amount of time people spend on the site – American users top this category with 11 minutes spent on site per visit, while Brits only spend about 10 minutes and 37 seconds on average – as well as the search terms people use most.

Apparently folks in England and Europeans in general don’t have very specific kinks – “British” is the top search term for English visitors of the site, while users from Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Spain, Mexico and Brazil also mostly search for their respective nationalities. It’s an unusual kind of patriotism, but there you go. The most popular search term however for Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales was 'Lisa Ann', the name of an American porn actress and director. In a not so shocking twist, the third most popular British search term was 'lesbian'. It turns out that Brits also differ regionally in their tastes - with visitors from Liverpool searching for 'teacher' and those in Sheffield looking for 'natural t**s'. Yes, this is extremely useful information, which can be applied in many situations.
Meanwhile, the survey also found that the most active day of the week for Pornhub is Monday, proving what many have known all along – people tend to watch a lot of porn at work. Shocker. January is the site’s most active month, presumably because the cold forces people to stay indoors and entertain themselves in other ways.
In London, 23.5 million people visited their site in 2013 from the 111 million visits in total from the whole of the UK, giving a whole new meaning to the phrase “everybody’s doing it.”
