Ravi Patel is an American-Indian actor who sunk into a deep depression after splitting with his white girlfriend Audrey while living in LA. He'd never told his parents about her for fear of what they might say about him taking a less than traditional approach to dating, so as far as they knew he was approaching 30 with no romantic prospects. Needless to say, that's where he finds himself now and so he decides to take a trip to India so that his folks can help him find a wife. Just like they did, the parents want him to try for an arranged marriage - something that seemed to have worked well for them - but it gets awfully complicated when various family members (and several strangers) start attempting to set him up with a mass of different women. Will he find the love of his life? Or does he need to take a Western approach to finding a relationship.
