Cannibal! The Musical Review


Excellent
Before there was South Parkthere was Cannibal!, a Trey Parker-directed live-action feature (and muscial, of course), about the country's only man ever convicted for cannibalism. That man was Alferd Packer, who (if you can believe the guy behind South Park, ate his travelling companions, Donner-style, when they were stranded in the Colorado mountains. Parker makes light of this in the best way possible, with happy tunes and absurd gore -- all fitting its Troma label. If you'd like to see how Ravenous should have been made, here's where to look.
