Professional basketball player Lamar Odom poses on the red carpet at the premiere of "Benji" - an ESPN sports film - at the Tribeca Film Festival. He is questioned on his recent removal from the team, the Dallas Mavericks. "It was great working with them", he says. "It was short-lived; too bad it couldn't work out but it's happened for a reason."

The 32-year-old had been absent from all games since February 20th due to being in LA taking care of his ill father. His late return along with his declined fitness levels has resulted in his being dropped from the Mavs after only being transferred from the LA Lakers last year
