The Beach Boys will headline a special open-air concert at London’s Royal Hospital Chelsea next summer, as the Live At Chelsea series makes its long-awaited return in 2026 after a four-year break.

The legendary group will take to the stage on Sunday, June 14, celebrating six decades of their landmark album Pet Sounds in one of the capital’s most historic settings.

Known worldwide as the embodiment of the California sound, The Beach Boys have spent more than half a century shaping popular music. From their first hit Surfin’ in 1961, co-written by founding member Mike Love, the band went on to deliver a catalogue of timeless classics including Surfin’ USA, Fun, Fun, Fun, I Get Around, California Girls, Good Vibrations and Kokomo.

With over 100 million records sold globally and more than 30 RIAA Platinum and Gold certifications, their impact remains unmatched. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and honoured with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, The Beach Boys have also set records for performing more concerts than any other major rock band in history.

The group continues to evolve while honouring its legacy. In 2024, a definitive documentary premiered on Disney+, charting their rise from humble beginnings to cultural icons. More recently, Mike Love was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2025, recognising his enduring influence on music.

Today, The Beach Boys are led by Love alongside longtime member Bruce Johnston, joined by Brian Eichenberger, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, Jon Bolton, Keith Hubacher, Randy Leago and John Wedemeyer.

A Presale takes place on Wednesday (26.11.25) at 10am. General Sale follows Friday (28.11.25) at the same time via LiveAtChelsea.com.

The first act confirmed for the revival of Live At Chelsea was The Proclaimers.

The open-air concert series will relaunch on Saturday, June 13, with the Scottish duo kicking off proceedings.

The twin brothers, Craig and Charlie Reid, will open the series with a headline performance that marks nearly four decades since their debut album, This Is The Story.
