Demi Lovato has cancelled a series of dates on her upcoming It’s Not That Deep Tour, explaining that she needs to scale back her schedule to safeguard her health ahead of the run.

The 33-year-old singer told fans she was “so excited” to return to the stage but realised during early preparations that she had “overextended what may be possible.”

In a message shared on her Instagram Stories, Demi said she needed more time to rest and rehearse to deliver the strongest shows possible.

As a result, the concerts scheduled for Charlotte (April 8), Atlanta (April 12), Nashville (April 14), Denver (May 5) and Las Vegas (May 8) have been cancelled.

She penned: “I am so sad to say that I will no longer be able to see you on this tour and I am so sorry to those who planned to be there."

The tour’s Orlando date has also shifted from April 10 to April 13, which will now serve as the official tour opener. All previously purchased tickets for the new date will remain valid.

Demi confirmed that refunds for the cancelled shows will be issued automatically for fans who bought through Ticketmaster or AXS, while those who used third‑party resellers will need to contact their point of purchase. Additional tickets for the remaining dates are available via DemiLovato.com.

Despite the setback, the Confident singer assured fans she’s looking forward to getting back on stage: “I am so excited for this tour and am looking forward to seeing so many of your faces singing with me.”

Demi has previously spoken openly about the physical demands of touring. In a 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she admitted: “It takes a lot out of you. It takes a toll on your body.”
