Fifth Harmony spark Spotify surge after surprise reunion
Fifth Harmony’s surprise reunion last weekend has sparked a 665 per cent spike in Spotify searches for the group's songs.

Fifth Harmony have sent fans - and Spotify - into a frenzy following their surprise reunion at the Jonas Brothers’ live-streamed concert in Dallas on Sunday (31.08.25).
Now performing as a four-piece made up of Ally Brooke, Normani, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui, the group reunited for the first time since their 2018 hiatus, delivering performances of Work From Home and Worth It.
Within 24 hours, Spotify searches for Fifth Harmony jumped 665 per cent, according to Rolling Stone. U.S. streams of All in My Head (Flex) surged by 590 per cent, while global plays rose by 350 percent. Overall streams increased by 100 per cent.
Camila Cabello, who left the group in 2016, did not take part but showed support by commenting four love heart emojis under the group’s Instagram post.
Sharing a backstage clip of the four members dancing, the group wrote: “Thank you all for the support over the past 24 hours – we missed you so much.”
Despite not releasing new music since 2017, Fifth Harmony remain streaming powerhouses. The group has 15.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Work From Home has surpassed 1.6 billion streams and is part of Spotify’s Billions Club, while Worth It is closing in on 1 billion. All in My Head (Flex) has also seen a resurgence in popularity thanks to viral dances on TikTok.
Hints of the reunion surfaced earlier in the day when the group’s official X account reactivated with the hashtag “#FifthHarmonyFollowSpree,” engaging fans and fueling speculation.
Dinah Jane posted: “The impossible is possible. Full of gratitude today."
Meanwhile, Fifth Harmony's official website was quietly updated to read “coming soon.”
The reunion marks a potential new chapter for the group, though no official statement about future releases or a full-scale comeback has been made as of yet.
Talk of a reunion previously surfaced when All in My Head (Flex) went viral on TikTok but Lauren previously insisted that she was focused on her solo work.
The 29-year-old singer said: "I'm really focused on my music right now. I'm about to drop an album this year and I just dropped a couple songs as well... I think that that's kind of where my energy's at for sure."
Lauren added: "But also, I love the girls. So, you know, anything that would make sense for us to do, I'm always with it, you know."
