Tyra Banks is helping LaQuan Smith to hit the big time.

The 36-year-old model says she was "inspired" by the up-and-coming designer - who has dressed the likes of Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys - and admits she wants to "rock his clothes".

She said: "The world has just seen the beginning of LaQuan and I will be there to support him and rock his clothes!

"I was truly inspired by LaQuan's collection and I wanted to share his refreshing take on beauty with the Tyra.com visitors. For anyone in the fashion industry, LaQuan doesn't need an introduction.

"I am so excited to have him on the site and I just loved modelling his looks on set - the photos say it all! Fashion connoisseur and my dear friend, Andre Leon Talley, and I believe that LaQuan will carve out a very successful and groundbreaking path in the fashion industry."

The talk show host also reveals she is happier behind the camera than in front of it.
