Cameron Diaz has opened up on her relationship with husband Benji Madden.
Speaking about her past relationships, Diaz said: "Nothing matters now that I have my husband. I don't even remember any of that. Like that's the thing, that's how I know he's my husband because no one compares."
The actress said that people would always tell her "you just know when you know" about finding the perfect partner and once she met Madden she understood what they meant. "I was always like, 'What does that mean … what does that mean?' Then I was like 'Oh, I get it, you just know when you know, like you're my husband,” she said.

Diaz and Madden began dating in 2014, after being introduced by Madden’s twin Joel, who is married to Nicole Ritchie. But before then, Madden had caught the actress’ eye twice. "The first thing I saw when I first met my husband, I was like he's hot!" Diaz said.
"We had just never been in the same circle, then I saw him like a year later, I saw him again, and I was like wait a second, still hot." Diaz and Madden finally got together in 2014 after a barbecue hosted by Joel and Nicole.

"You realize like, 'Oh right, this is what the real thing is, this is what real love is and this is what commitment and devotion is,'" she added. "This is the person that you build your life with, and for me, it's like the rest of everything else just kind of like dissolves.”
