NCT DREAM have released their sixth mini album, Beat It Up.

Known for their global chart success and sold-out stadium tours, the seven-member K-pop group continue to push boundaries with a project that reflects their evolution and ambition.

The new release follows their summer full-length album Go Back To The Future, which explored the concept of time’s direction. This time, Beat It Up shifts focus to the pace of time, tracing the members’ personal journeys from childhood to stardom.

The album's title track leads the six-song collection with high-impact hip-hop energy and rapid-fire rap verses. The lyrics speak to self-determination and breaking through limits, delivered with the group’s trademark intensity.

Rush keeps the momentum going with a vibrant pop sound, while Cold Coffee slows things down with a smooth R'n'B-pop ballad about love’s lingering presence.

Two unit tracks showcase the group’s versatility. RENJUN, HAECHAN and CHENLE team up on Butterflies, a heartfelt ballad asking whether the spark of first love still remains. Meanwhile, MARK, JENO, JAEMIN and JISUNG take the lead on Tempo, a 90s-inspired rap track co-written by British producer MNEK, known for his work with Zara Larsson and FLO.

The album closes with TRICKY, a moody hip-hop cut that explores the tension between emotional attachment and the desire for independence. It’s a fitting finale that highlights both vocal range and lyrical depth.

Beat It Up is available now across streaming platforms.
