Cheryl Cole says Girls Aloud are set to announce their reunion plans ''very soon''.

The 'Call My Name' hitmaker confirmed the girl band have met up and had ''lots of conversations'' about what they are going to do to mark their 10th anniversary in November.

She told Capital FM: ''We had lots of conversations and we drank lots of cups of tea and we all said we want to do something for our tenth birthday.''

The 28-year-old beauty's comments come after she recently admitted the group are keen to ''do something'' to mark the occasion and she praised her bandmates - Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle and Kimberley Walsh - for ''always'' being there for her.

Speaking to Clyde 1 radio station, she said: ''Our actual anniversary isn't until November, we have all agreed we want to do something. We have to do something.''

''They are the best, they are the ones you know are always there for you and will keep it real.''
