Willem Dafoe insisted he had a lot of fun working on 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' with director Wes Anderson in a red carpet interview at the film's premiere.
'It was fun because we were all staying at the same hotel and so we created sort of a parallel life to the life in the film', he explains. 'It blurred the lines between our personal lives and what was happening on the screen.' He adds: 'He gives you a lot to play with, everything becomes quite self-evident and his direction is always quite formal.'
