Maribou State were the first headliner confirmed for next year's festival.
The electronic duo will bring the party on Saturday June 20, 2026.
Reflecting on their deep-rooted connection to the city, Maribou State shared: “We’ve made some of our best memories touring in London, from our first ever show at Oslo through to playing Alexandra Palace earlier this year. We're over the moon to announce our biggest show yet in the city next summer, alongside a line-up of some of our favourite artists. This is going to be special. See you all next June.”
Comprised of Chris Davids and Liam Ivory, the Hertfordshire-born duo have carved out a reputation for their immersive, genre-fluid soundscapes - fusing live instrumentation with textured grooves and atmospheric flair. Since forming in 2011, they’ve become a staple on the global dance circuit, with standout performances ranging from Glastonbury to the Sydney Opera House, and a string of sold-out tours across the UK, Europe, and North America.
Jim King, CEO of AEG Presents UK and European Festivals, commented: "LIDO’s first year was an incredible moment for London with exceptional performances, a perfect setting in Victoria Park and a real step forward in how we can deliver live music more sustainably. We’re excited to build on that success and return in 2026. We’re delighted to welcome Maribou State as our first headliner to set the tone for what’s to come… unforgettable live shows with world-class artists, and a festival that truly feels like summer in the city.”
