Self Esteem, McFly, Zac Brown Band and Khalid to launch London’s new British Airways ARC venue
Self Esteem, McFly, Zac Brown Band and Khalid will headline the opening run of shows at London’s new 3,800‑capacity British Airways ARC, which opens June 16 above Olympia’s historic West Hall.
Self Esteem, McFly, Zac Brown Band and Khalid will lead the launch of London’s newest live music venue, the British Airways ARC, as AEG Presents confirms the first artists set to open the 3,800‑capacity space above Olympia’s historic West Hall.
Self Esteem will officially open the venue with two shows beginning June 16, marking the ARC’s first-ever headline performance. McFly follow with a summer date, while US country heavyweights Zac Brown Band and multi‑platinum R'n'B star Khalid are booked for autumn shows as part of the venue’s early run.
The ARC is a purpose‑built, state‑of‑the‑art addition to London’s live music landscape, designed to sit between club venues and arenas while tapping into Olympia’s long musical heritage. Its programming is already stretching beyond pop and rock: the venue has partnered with the EFG London Jazz Festival, opening with Branford Marsalis and Dianne Reeves performing a special celebration of John Coltrane.
AEG Presents is positioning the ARC as a major new cultural hub for the redeveloped Olympia site, with a focus on mixing high‑profile touring acts with genre‑spanning one‑offs and festival collaborations.
