Liam Gallagher has claimed he was invited to take part in the BBC reality series The Celebrity Traitors.

The Oasis frontman, 53, was asked by a fan on X: "Liam would you go on the traitors if they asked? (sic)"
And, much to his followers' surprise, Liam replied: "I've been asked."
The Britpop legend didn't divulge whether he agreed to the offer to appear on the hit BBC One social deduction reality show.

The first season - hosted by Claudia Winkleman, who also presents the civilian show - featured the likes of Cat Burns, Jonathan Ross, Sir Stephen Fry, Alan Carr, Paloma Faith, Charlotte Church.
Comedian Alan Carr won the first celebrity spin-off.
A second season is confirmed, and the likes of Jamie Oliver, Alison Hammond and Danny Dyer are among the rumoured celebrities taking part.
The latest civilian series was a huge hit in its fourth season, with the January 23 finale breaking records as 9.4 million viewers — peaking at 9.6 million — tuned in.
Following the final, the BBC announced that the game show is being adapted into a West End event in 2027.
Although details of the stage adaptation are being kept under wraps, it has been written by Miranda star John Finnemore, 48, and directed by Olivier award-winner Robert Hastie.
