Jack White added to Coachella lineup as surprise last‑minute performer
Jack White has been added to the Coachella lineup as a last‑minute surprise, joining a packed bill of major artists.
Jack White has been added to the Coachella lineup at the last minute.
He’ll hit the Mojave Tent on Saturday, April 11, performing a 45‑minute set at 3pm.
The announcement dropped just days before the festival weekend kicks off on April 10.
The former White Stripes rocker's addition comes as Coachella prepares for one of its hottest lineups in years.
Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G are all set to perform, alongside The xx, Nine Inch Noize — a collaboration between Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize — and Disclosure.
The bill also features Turnstile, Ethel Cain, KATSEYE, The Strokes, Addison Rae, Labrinth, David Byrne, Interpol, Alex G, BIGBANG, Laufey, Iggy Pop, FKA Twigs and Wet Leg.
White’s slot adds even more star power to an already stacked festival, and his appearance is expected to draw one of the weekend’s biggest crowds.
In more recent years, Coachella has gotten huge artists, including Ed Sheeran and Weezer, to perform the surprise Saturday slot.
White may even perform his new songs G.O.D. And The Broken Ribs and Derecho Demonico, released on April 3.
