'80s legends Holly Johnson, Tony Hadley, and Heaven 17 are set for Live At Chelsea as the concert series makes its long-awaited return in 2026.

The trio will headline a special night at the historic Royal Hospital Chelsea on Wednesday 10 June, marking the first Live At Chelsea shows in four years.

The one-off concert brings together three defining acts of the decade for an evening of classic hits, set within the stunning 17th-century surroundings of the Royal Hospital Chelsea. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren and home to the world-famous Chelsea Pensioners, the venue will once again be transformed into a world-class outdoor stage in the heart of central London.

Holly Johnson became a household name as the dynamic frontman of Frankie Goes to Hollywood, one of the 1980s’ biggest-selling groups. His distinctive vocals and bold performance style powered chart‑topping hits including Relax, Two Tribes and The Power of Love. After departing the band in 1987, he moved into a successful solo career with his debut album Blast, producing hits such as Love Train, Americanos and Atomic City. In recent years, Johnson has returned to the stage across the UK and Europe to mark the 40th anniversary of Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s landmark debut, Welcome to the Pleasuredome.

Tony Hadley rose to prominence as the lead singer of Spandau Ballet, becoming one of the defining voices of the New Romantic era. The band achieved worldwide success with enduring favourites including True, Gold and Through the Barricades. Hadley has since built a long‑running solo career, touring widely with his own band as well as orchestras and swing ensembles. His more recent work includes 2018’s Talking to the Moon and the swing‑focused albums The Mood I’m In and If I Can Dream.

Heaven 17, formed in Sheffield by Martyn Ware and Ian Craig Marsh with vocalist Glenn Gregory, emerged as key figures in the evolution of British synth‑pop. After their early involvement in founding The Human League, the trio went on to score major hits such as Temptation, Crushed by the Wheels of Industry and Come Live With Me. Their 1983 release The Luxury Gap remains a standout album of the decade, and the band completed a sold‑out UK tour last year.

Previous performers have included Paul Weller, Sir Tom Jones, Simply Red, Jeff Beck, and James Blunt.

Presale begins on January 22 at 10am, with general sale following on January 23 at 10am via LiveAtChelsea.com.

VIP packages will be available for the 2026 shows, offering premium seating and hospitality, while a portion of proceeds will support the ongoing care of the Chelsea Pensioners. Additional acts for the Live At Chelsea 2026 series will be announced in due course.
